Due to its refraction index, Eidolon fluorocarbon is not visible below the water’s surface. And since it is a sinking tippet material, it is ideal for nymph fishing. Savvy fly fishermen can use a short piece of Eidolon between a dry fly and nylon tippet material. Since the short section of Eidolon will settle slightly below the surface, the fly appears to float free of attachment to the leader, but it will not sink the fly. Surflon Wire Leader
Surflon Micro Ultra 19 strand is far more flexible than the 1 x 7 Surflon. It has a smooth nylon coating that makes it kink resistant, easy to knot and provides a longer life.
