Cyclops brass beads are especially designed beads for fly tyers. They are made from machined brass, they're expertly polished and
drilled especially to be used as eyes on flies. Unlike jewelers brass beads which have the same hole size on both ends, cyclops
beads are counter-bored larger on one side so that they can be more easily placed on a hook.  If you've struggled with regular brass
beads, you owe it to yourself to try a cyclops bead! You'll never go back to the old beads again.

Brass Convex Hourglass Beads
The convex shape of these eyes mimic the contour of an actual fish eye. This shape allows light to reflect off the bead as it would with normal fish eye. Sometime called Dazl eyes, these eyes are expertly machined from solid brass and their perfectly symmetrical hourglass shape allows for secure attachments to the hook shank with no slippage.
