BVK reels are precision machined from bar stock aluminum. The clear silver anodized frames and spools are ported to eliminate excess weight. Equally at home in both fresh and salt waters, the super large arbor design provides faster line pick up and helps the maintenance free drag system work at a more constant pressure that standard arbor reels. Delrin/Stainless stacked discs make the drag silky smooth and the one way clutch bearing makes engagement instant and left to right hand conversion simple. This Series II model has a 3.75 inch diameter, a spool width of 1.3 inches, weighs 4.9 ounces and has a capacity of 200 yards on 20" dacron backing with a WF6F line.

Consistent with the TFO tradition of offering high performance gear at an affordable price, the new Prism Cast Large Arbor Reels are made from cast aluminum with a cork disc drag and a one way clutch bearing for instant drag engagement. They feature quick change spools and easy LH/RH conversion. The 5/6 model has a diameter of 3 inches, a spool width of 1.25 inches, weighs 5.5 ounces and has a capacity of 100 yards of 20# dacron backing and WF5F line.
